Stock market APIs you can pay per call

As of October 26, 2026, x402-list compares 25 stock market services with task-matched endpoints; 10 price an equity quote or price history, at a median of $0.0125 per call. Separate share quotes, historical series, research outputs and tokenized instruments.

What stock market APIs do

A stock market API can provide several kinds of evidence for an agent: a quote, a historical price series, company financials, an earnings schedule, filings or a research score. The same ticker may appear in each product, but that does not make the responses interchangeable. A price snapshot answers a question about an observation time. A filing reports information disclosed by an issuer or holder. A model output describes an inference under its own horizon and method.

Choose the question before comparing prices. A portfolio display may need a current or delayed quote with currency and session information. A research pipeline may need adjusted historical bars and corporate actions. An event workflow may need filing changes or upcoming earnings dates with source links. A stock screen may consume an indicator or score, provided its definition and missing-result behavior are documented. One broad gateway can sell those products behind different paths and paid units.

Time semantics are part of the data. A latest weekly row, a daily close and an intraday snapshot have different uses. A timestamp can refer to market observation, upstream refresh, filing acceptance or generation of a summary. Keep those times separately when the provider exposes them. A fast API response does not establish that the underlying market data was observed moments ago.

Instrument semantics matter too. An equity, an ETF, an equity-linked derivative and a token representing exposure to a company can have different venues, sessions and price behavior. Preserve the instrument identifier and its context. A symbol that looks like a familiar company ticker is not sufficient evidence that two routes describe the same traded object.

Compare the returned data, scope and limitations

The type table separates quote-bearing responses, historical series, issuer data, disclosures, earnings and research. A route can carry more than one type when its description explicitly combines those outputs. A company comparison can include both prices and fundamentals, while an equity dossier can include a quote, earnings context and a generated interpretation. Keep the individual fields identifiable rather than merging their evidence levels.

Tokenized products, equity-linked derivatives, index observations and multi-asset candle series have their own types. Their quotes should not silently price a conventional share lookup. Gas sponsorship, unsigned transaction building, crypto-only forecasts and finance reference documents answer neighboring questions and stay outside the selected equity data contracts. A service announcing planned stock support does not establish a currently documented equity forecast route.

StableFinance, x402stock, LoneStarOracle EquityScope, TickersFeed, Losbeto — LLM Gateway & Market Intelligence, SwarmIO Cloud, x402.eleeth.com and Herramientas Cobrables have documented quote-bearing products in this selection. Agent402.tools, StableFinance and Stock Trends Market Intelligence have documented equity price-history or weekly-row products. These generated names follow the endpoint types as the listing changes.

Agent402.tools, x402stock, LoneStarOracle InsiderFlow, TickersFeed, Losbeto — LLM Gateway & Market Intelligence, Stock Bloc, Degenscan Intel, SwarmIO Cloud, FilingDelta and x402.eleeth.com explicitly name SEC or EDGAR in matched endpoint descriptions. Atlas Market Data explicitly name FINRA. A provider-declared upstream is provenance to inspect, rather than an independent verification that the delivered response is complete or current.

Each price is the cheapest endpoint of that service for that kind of data: the same number wherever this page quotes it.

Compare 25 stock market services

A row shows the price of the service's cheapest equity quote or price-history route and names that path. 10 of the 25 rows have one; a service listed for filings, research, tokenized instruments, index observations or multi-asset candles shows no row price and stays out of the median, minimum and maximum. The ordering follows observed paying wallets for the service; it does not rank the accuracy of the underlying output.

Stock market APIs you can pay per call: what each service does, its stock market endpoints, the price of its main stock market endpoint and which endpoint it is, networks, 30-day uptime, latency and 30-day buyers.

$/CALL is the price of the endpoint named under it: the cheapest equity quote snapshots and quoted comparison bundles and equity price history and weekly price rows endpoint of the service or, for a service without one, no price: that service stays out of the median, the cheapest and the cost table. Never the cheapest tool of a gateway. Other kinds of data have their own price in the tables below. STOCK MARKET ENDPOINTS counts the stock market endpoints out of all the endpoints the service lists. BUYERS 30D counts distinct wallets that paid the whole service on-chain in 30 days, not only its stock market endpoints. "Generalist" marks a gateway that sells more than three unrelated kinds of tools: it is never called the cheapest.

How to choose a stock market endpoint

Match interval and instrument

Write the instrument universe and update interval into the integration contract. Check share, ETF, token and derivative identities separately. Decide whether delayed quotes are adequate and which market sessions the caller needs. For historical work, specify interval, timezone, adjusted or unadjusted basis and corporate-action handling.

Keep observation and interpretation separate

Store price fields, filing facts, model scores and generated summaries under distinct keys. A model horizon should not be inferred from a candle interval. A filing's publication date is different from the date of the transaction or reporting period it describes. Retain citations and amendments when a disclosure product supplies them.

Evaluate actual coverage

Use a reviewed symbol set covering your required exchanges and expected missing symbols. Read the unsupported-ticker behavior before a batch, particularly when a provider charges for some upstream errors. Monitoring uptime concerns the service's checks; it does not verify exchange coverage or market-data licensing for your intended use.

Write an acceptance criterion

Choose the fields your next step requires before choosing a provider. Keep a small reviewed input set with straightforward cases, ambiguous cases and expected failures. Compare the raw fields and reason codes with that criterion rather than accepting a successful HTTP status as a complete result.

Keep provenance with the result

Store the input, selected route, observation time and provider-specific identifiers together. Preserve a missing value independently from zero, false or an explicit negative verdict. This helps an agent decide whether to retry, request clarification or accept a partial result without silently inventing certainty.

Test the operating limits

The monitored median uptime is 100% and the median selected quote is $0.0125. Monitoring latency describes our checks, rather than a benchmark of your full paid workflow. Evaluate response size, timeout behavior and concurrency for a representative workload. Check whether a retry repeats a completed purchase and whether a later page or deeper product costs extra.

Choose by the output your workflow needs

Start with the response your next step can consume. The candidates below use the same type classification as the comparison table. The job quote belongs to the lowest priced endpoint of its requested types, with the originating path retained.

Equity quote snapshots and quoted comparison bundles

Check timestamp, session, currency and delay for the exact symbol. A reference quote is separate from an executable order.

Equity price history and weekly price rows

Preserve interval, timezone, session scope and adjustment basis; a weekly row and a daily bar cannot be merged by position in an array.

Issuer fundamentals, reference data and corporate actions

Keep the reporting period, fiscal calendar and unit with every figure. A split or dividend record changes how a past price compares with a current one, so store its effective date.

Filing changes, ownership disclosures and filing search

Store the filing date, the date of the event or transaction it reports and the form type as separate fields. An amendment can replace an earlier figure, so keep the filing identifier where the route returns one.

Earnings schedules, estimates and reported results

Separate a scheduled date, an analyst estimate and a reported result. Estimates move before the report, so keep the time each value was read.

Multi-asset OHLC history with stocks among its classes

Store the instrument class and symbol the request selected with every bar. A route that serves several asset classes through one parameter does not make its stock bars an equity history product.

What the providers describe

These paragraphs attribute output contracts and limitations to the provider. Reference prices follow the matching endpoint type rather than an amount embedded in a marketing description.

TickersFeed

TickersFeed describes an equity quote at $0.003, earnings history at $0.003 and SEC financial statements at $0.008. Its quote description discusses real-time or delayed output depending on the request tier. The reference quote here comes from the captured endpoint record; it does not establish the amount for a changed tier. Its news routes are a separate research output. Keep quote time, requested tier and the originating path with the result rather than deriving freshness from the service name.

Stock Trends describes weekly equity price rows and historical weekly prices, starting at $0.0025. Its research type starts at $0.0025 across screening, trend indicators, leadership, regime and model products. A latest weekly row is different from an intraday quote. Its ST-IM descriptions discuss forward-return expectations and distributions at several horizons; those are model outputs rather than realized prices. Choose the exact research product and read its provenance and interpretation limits before comparing it with an observed price series.

Atlas Market Data

Atlas's captured endpoints separate issuer reference and corporate actions, starting at $0.015, from research and market-context routes at $0.015. The documented routes include ticker reference, splits, short interest, short-sale volume, RSI and SMA. Its general description advertises a broader market-data catalog, including OHLC bars, but that does not add a raw-bars path to this captured endpoint set. Treat an indicator reading, a corporate action and a price series as separate outputs when designing the downstream schema.

Agent402.tools

Agent402 Tools describes /api/stock-history as daily equity OHLCV, at $0.005. The endpoint description explicitly says it is daily rather than intraday. It distinguishes a consolidated end-of-day source from a fallback covering three US venues; under that fallback it describes volume as unavailable and venue volume separately. Its filing products start at $0.005. Preserve the returned source and coverage fields when joining history across dates, especially if the route reports different source coverage on a later read.

LoneStarOracle EquityScope

LoneStarOracle's EquityScope listing describes a combined stock analysis response, with a quote-bearing type starting at $0.05. The service description advertises price, valuation fundamentals, analyst ratings, an earnings date and an AI-generated summary for US stocks and ETFs. A combined response can be convenient when the caller needs context together, but the summary should remain distinct from the underlying fields. Check the actual timestamp, ticker resolution and missing values before treating the result as suitable for a particular market session.

StableFinance

StableFinance describes separate price snapshots at $0.02 and historical OHLCV at $0.02. Its captured history contract requires a ticker, interval and start and end dates. Its screener description warns that a returned ticker may not be supported by every downstream endpoint, and that upstream invalid or unsupported ticker errors can still be charged. Validate against the target route's supported list before planning a paid batch. The broad catalog description does not substitute for the selected route's input and error contract.

Each service at the price of its main stock market endpoint, the one named in the table above.

A request can inspect one input, return several records or buy a bounded batch. Those units are different. Follow-up lookups, pagination, retries and a larger input can change the amount required. Preserve the exact endpoint, submitted parameters, returned quote and outcome so that a cheap submission is not mistaken for a cheap completed task. A variable-price route needs its own request quote; a priced neighbor cannot establish its total.

Set an explicit budget for each job and a stopping condition for repeated attempts. Separate an invalid input, an empty answer and an unavailable upstream in the result record. The provider's terms determine whether those outcomes incur a charge. Read the challenge for the exact request before authorizing a payment, and avoid estimating a task from the gateway's cheapest unrelated utility.

Inspect a request and its payment evidence

The listing documents Agent402.tools at GET /api/stock-history, with an equity-history reference price of $0.005. Its description takes a days window from one to 250 sessions, with thirty as the default, and explicitly describes daily bars. Use the requested window and returned source coverage when deciding whether that history is suitable for your analysis.

The listed method and description establish the advertised contract. This explanation does not reproduce an HTTP 402 challenge or certify a paid response. Read the current request schema and service payment evidence, then obtain the challenge for the exact input before authorizing payment. Keep the resource, accepted network, asset and amount together. A quote for daily history does not establish the price or availability of an intraday request.

How this comparison is built

The comparison starts with services that are online and payment-ready, have a known price, a description of at least 80 characters and measured 30-day uptime of at least 90%. Task selection then inspects the documented endpoints. A phrase in the service description can identify a candidate without establishing that a captured route returns the desired output. Pages below the index threshold can still be read directly.

Provider output claims were reviewed against the public service and endpoint descriptions captured on October 22, 2026. They remain provider claims. Monitoring supplies operating figures and reference prices; it does not establish that a quote is current, that a price history is complete or that a research score is useful. Buyer counts describe observed paying wallets for the service, with the coverage limits explained on its linked page.

The endpoint classification supplies the comparison quote, per-type prices and job candidates. The row price comes only from an equity quote or an equity price-history route; a price for filings, research, an index, a token or a multi-asset candle series never stands in for it, so the minimum, maximum and median compare the same product. A derivatives route counts only when its own description names the equity object. Keep the named path when comparing services: an adjacent product can have a different input, unit and evidentiary value even on the same host.

Questions

Is a zero-price option available?

The 25 listed services have positive per-call prices for their task endpoints. Check the exact input shape and provider terms; promotional credits or a free sample do not establish a zero-price paid route.

What do 100,000 calls cost?

At the median equity quote or price-history price, 100,000 calls total $1,250.00 at $0.0125 per call. This reference calculation assumes the same request shape and excludes additional products, pagination and retries.

Why does a row show no price in the table?

The row price comes from an equity quote or price-history route. A service listed for filings, research, an index, a token or a multi-asset candle series without such a route keeps its row without a price and stays out of the median, minimum and maximum; its other prices appear in the type table.

Does HTTP 402 establish a correct paid answer?

It establishes a payment requirement for the request. A stored challenge, an observed payment and an accurate response are different evidence. Inspect the resource and request schema before using payment terms.

Are tokenized equity prices share quotes?

A token has its own contract, chain, venue and market conditions. Preserve the relationship to the underlying instrument rather than treating the token price as an interchangeable conventional share quote.

Can weekly data drive an intraday chart?

A weekly row has a different interval and observation time from an intraday bar. Choose a route that explicitly documents the required interval, session and timestamp semantics.

Does a filing show a trade happening now?

Filing and transaction dates can differ. A disclosure, amendment or proposed sale needs its own event semantics; it should not be labeled as a live executed trade.

Is a model score an observed market price?

A score, forecast distribution or generated summary is a research output. Keep it separate from observed quotes, historical bars and filing facts, with the model context and horizon intact.

Does an advertised catalog establish a captured endpoint?

A broad service description helps discover candidates. The comparison quotes and type memberships use documented routes in the captured endpoint list; a missing route does not acquire an invented price.
