PayPerByte is a pay-per-call data gateway for AI agents — 22 first-party feeds and decision oracles billed in USDC over x402 on Base mainnet. A wallet, not an API key; no token. Every paid 200 carries a signed EIP-712 provenance receipt (X-BYTE-Attestation) so an agent can verify the data before it acts. Coverage spans DeFi/markets, weather, earthquakes, security advisories, code/runtime status, and decision oracles. Flagship: the Address Reputation Oracle — a signed ALLOW/WARN/BLOCK verdict on a receiving address before an agent releases funds ($0.05/call). Per-byte pricing from $0.003; settled in USDC via the Coinbase CDP facilitator.
